Teaser Trailer and Poster Released For Star Wars’ The Mandalorian and Grogu

This is the way! Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” dropped an official teaser trailer and poster ahead of its May 2026 theatrical release. After three successful seasons of the series on Disney+, the story will finally come to the big screen next year.

The trailer sees the return of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu embarking on their next adventure, battling galactic creatures and toppling AT-ATs. New to the franchise are Sigourney Weaver as Ward, a Rebellion fighter pilot, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and Jonny Coyne as an Imperial Warlord. Familiar faces such as Babu Frik and Zebb (Clone Wars: Rebels) will also make an appearance in the film.

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce,  with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
