Crunchyroll hosted a romance-themed media event ahead of Valentine’s Day, filled with activities such as DIY Valentine cards, candlemaking, floral arrangement, themed photobooth, swag station, and of course, a screening of select episodes of anime “Hana Kimi“, “You and I Are Polar Opposites“, and “Hell’s Paradise“. The media event was held at the Delphi hotel in Los Angeles, and the lobby was transformed with floral decor, a manga corner (to catch up on your reading), and character standees.
Each station was specially themed, such as the scents at the candlemaking station by Banter & bliss Candle Co. Crunchyroll specially selected the scents used, such as Forbidden Nectar themed after “Hell’s Paradise”; The Perfect Mismatch after “You and I Are Polar Opposites”; Blossom in Disguise after “Hana-Kimi”; and Be My Ani-Bae for Crunchyroll.
