We have our first look at season 2 of the Disney+ hit series Loki, set to premiere on October 6. Season 1 was revealed to be the most-viewed Marvel show on the streaming platform in 2022, and it is the only Marvel show so far to receive a second season.
Tom Hiddleston will return as Loki, who seems to be experiencing a phenomenon called time-slipping, “I’m being pulled through time, between the past and the present.” Loki’s voiceover can be heard as his body distorts and bends before disappearing into another timeline. Loki and TVA friends will certainly face the consequences of fracturing the Sacred Timeline, “If what I saw is true, there’s nothing that stands between this world and utter destruction,” says Loki in the trailer.
Who Is Returning To Season 2?
Returning for season 2 are Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Slyvie, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Eugene Cordero as Casey, Tara Strong as the voice of Miss Minute, Neil Ellice as Hunter D-90, and Jonathan Majors as Kang/Victor Timely.
This is also a first look at Academy Award-winning actor Ke Huy Quan in the series, who’ll be playing a TVA repairman named “OB”. During the 2022 D23, Marvel president Kevin Feige announced the actor would be coming aboard for season 2.
Loki, joined by Mobius will adventure through various timelines as they try to solve Loki’s time-slipping problem and track down Kang. The trailer shows Jonathan Major as Victor Timely, a character that was teased in the mid-credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
This show will definitely be worth tuning in to see how it’ll shape the MCU as it ventures into its Multiverse Saga and the next Avengers film, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
