How To Watch K-Pop Demon Hunters On the Big Screen

It’s time to turn the Honmoon gold together! Netflix’s viral animated sensation “K-Pop Demon Hunters” will be in theaters for a limited release. Best of all? It’ll be a sing-along version. So grab your lightsticks and head to a theater near you.

This limited theatrical event will be on August 23 and 24 – that’s right, it’s one weekend only. Theaters in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK are participating, but be sure to check www.singkpopdemonhunters.com for ticket details and showtimes. Alamo Drafthouse will also be hosting Sing-Along screenings at 23 locations.

The animated feature hails from Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) and is directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Since its release, the film has been ranked as the most viewed movie on Netflix with over 180 million views. It is the streamer’s most-watched animated film of all time. The soundtrack has been a hit with the audience as well, with the movie’s hit song “Golden” rising to number 1 on the August 16 dated ranking.

Whether you’re a Hunter or part of the Pride, this limited screening event is not to be missed. We’ll all be heading to the theaters with our shoulders popping to its hit OST and wowed by its stunning animation on the big screen.
