The official trailer for the epic sci-fi film “Dune: Part Two” has arrived. Helmed by director Denis Villeneuve, the sequel takes us back to Arrakis with Timothee Chalamet‘s Paul Atredes, along with Zendaya‘s Chani.
The official synopsis for “Dune: Part Two” is:
This follow-up film will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
In this trailer, we get a glimpse of Austin Butler‘s Feyd-Rautha, Florence Pugh‘s Princess Irulan Corrino, and Christopher Walken‘s Emperor Shaddam IV. Much like Part One, “Dune: Part Two” will wow audiences with stunning visuals, an epic score (by Hans Zimmer), and a stellar performance by an A-list cast.
Zendaya’s Chani had little to do in Part One, as she appears mostly in Paul’s dreams and vision until the third act of the film. However, we can expect to see Chani a lot more in Part Two as Paul joins the Fremen for battle against the Harkonnens. The movie will hit theaters on November 3rd, 2023.
