Critters rejoice! During Critical Role‘s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the cast released a sneak peek of the upcoming animated series, “The Mighty Nein“, based on the group’s second TTRPG campaign. The sneak peek offers fans a first glimpse of Caleb Widogast, Fjord Stone, Beauregard Lionette, Jester LaVorre, Nott the Brave, and Mollymauk Tealeaf in the upcoming animated series. The highly anticipated show will premiere on Prime Video on November 19, in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The sneak peek sees the aforementioned characters under interrogation, each unwilling to cooperate. This lines up with exactly how these characters were portrayed during the playthrough campaign, which means we can look forward to more mayhem playing out in the series. Let chaos reign!
The SDCC panel also showed episodic clips, character art designs, and even revealed a list of guest stars joining the new season. The star-studded cast includes Mark Strong (Nine Perfect Strangers, 1917), Alan Cumming (The Traitors), Tim McGraw (The Blind Side, 1883), Anika Noni Rose (Princess and the Frog), Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana), Rahul Kohli (iZombie), Robbie Daymond (Date Everything!), and Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation).
