Following the performances, The Fall Guy star Ryan Gosling and director David Leitch held a short Q&A, starting with the concept for the stunt pre-show. Leitch wanted the show to reflect how much fun the movie is, “our movie is a lot of fun, there’s laughs, there’s lots of action, so those are the things we wanted to bring here today,” The pair talked about their love for the stunt community, “In our film, the character I play started in a show like this,” said Gosling. “They’re really, like, the hardest people working in show business.”

Leitch, who is a former stunt performer, calls the movie a love letter to the stunt community: “Making The Fall Guy is a love letter to all the people behind the scenes making the magic on the screen, and their lives, and telling a story within their world.
