From A24:

An adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through a near-future fractured America balanced on the razors edge.

In the trailer, we learn of the “Florida Alliance” as well as the California/Texas alliance known as the “Western Forces,” a third-term president (played by Nick Offerman), and of the 50 states, 19 have seceded. Journalists are said to be shot on-site if found at the U.S. Capitol, and a military personnel (played by Jesse Plemmons) can be heard asking, “What kind of American are you?”

Kirsten Dunst plays a journalist who, along with other journalists, is attempting to enter the highly guarded U.S. Capitol.

The movie is set to premiere on April 26, 2024.
